Pico - HANDLE WITH CARE" - at SHOWME Gallery

Once again at the beacon of artistic design in Portugal, SHOWME Gallery, exhibits my work, this time a pair of Pico lamp part of an exhibition that involves glass projects by young Portuguese designers. From the great work of Vitor Agostinho to Luis Nascimento, you can find there 13 works from different designers (André Teoman, Constança Bettencourt, Eneida Tavares, Francisco Pessegueiro, João Margarido, Jorge Carreira, Luis Nascimento, Magali Marinho, Martinho Pita, Paulo Sellmayer, Rita Pereira, Samuel Reis, Vitor Agostinho) with something unique to offer to the glass technique. Also the name of the exhibition "Handle With Care" it's a perfect fit to all the projects that you can see in this design breathing space, and sense how a fragile material can have such a strong character and multiple roles.

It was also fantastic to see the Zoo Collection in the permanent exhibition of the Gallery next to great works from Vitor Agostinho and Toni Grilo. This gallery, it's always a must see for all design lovers, if you ever find yourself in the North of Portugal don't hesitate to contact both Guilherme and Diana for a visit to the gallery! 

The Pico Lamp is also in the XXI Triennale as part of the Portuguese representation in Milan, and soon will find its way to London, soon I'll have some great news.
