Supersalone made 2021 a little brighter.
Seen as risky for some brands, the thruth is that most of the feedback from ones that attended was that although the fair was not what it used to be before covid, the small format was great to highlight their products in a way less saturated and more fair in terms of space fair. “supersalone”, the 2021 Salone del Mobile.Milano special event, curated by Stefano Boeri, scheduled for 5th to 10th September at Rho, Fiera Milano reaffirms the centrality of Milan and the Salone on the international design, cultural and innovation scene.
This experimental format was fresh and made you feel like walking through a series of shop windows where some brands got more creative than others, just like it happens when you walk in a city and find yourself overwhelmed with great and not so great showcases.
For sure not everyone was happy with how the fair was, but in a couple of years from now, I’m sure people will see how hard and how well it went besides all the health issues that were weighing on the shoulders of the organization. Lets continue to celebrate Design, in our favorite city to do it.. Milan. See you next year.
